Types of Billable Items

Fixed Charges One-time fees like setup costs, consultation fees, or flat-rate deliverables.

Percentage Charges Calculate as a percentage of the bill total (like success fees).

Discounts Reduce the bill amount by a fixed amount or percentage.

Recurring Items Charges that automatically appear on bills (like monthly fees).

Adding Items to a Bill

When creating a bill, click "ADD CHARGE" to add:

1. Choose the type (fixed, percentage, discount)
2. Enter the amount
3. Add a description
4. Save

Repeatable Charges

Set up items that appear automatically:

1. Go to Settings or Billing configuration
2. Create a repeatable charge
3. Choose which clients or projects it applies to
4. It will appear on bills automatically

This is great for monthly retainers or recurring fees.

Use clear descriptions so clients understand what they're paying for!
